From the perspective of the South Central Fair, the best time to
schedule a local science fair is when
Dakota
Wesleyan University, the primary sponsor of this endeavor, is on
spring break. This year that falls during the week of March 2nd-6th, 2009. During these days we can provide judging teams any time during the school
day or evening up to 10 p.m. Earlier
dates, such as those in February are also possible, but we must demand
that no local fair be scheduled later than March 6th, 2009, and that you submit
your regional fair entry forms to our offices by the following Friday.
Through the generosity of the Daily Republic,
you may have your fair’s date, time, and place published as part of
the large ad for all the school science fairs, provided that you have
submitted this information to our office prior to January 5th, 2009.
